The MN DNR is making decisions based on politics not wildlife management. Why can't we have a Wolf management plan similar to the Black Bear plan? Timber Wolves have increased their range into central MN and have had a stabile and growing population for years now, Deer populations have been declining in NE MN. MN DNR studies show a 60% percent Moose Calf predation rate in the first year. Look at big game populations in NE MN over 20 years the facts don't lie. The Deer population on my land in eastern Carlton County has completely collapsed.

After all these years- can anyone from Wisconsin tell me how good or bad he is?

Wolves thriving in our state is much more important to me than hunters being able to kill deer. And wolves aren't even to blame here as the DNR points out, leave the wolves alone.
